The problem
PSC runs 16 golf societies plus tennis, cricket, bowls, padel and more. Handicaps were calculated by hand, and renewals ran on paper and memory.
What we built
- A native iOS and Android app where members see their WHS handicap index and full round history
- Score entry that works offline on the course and uploads automatically once there's signal
- A World Handicap System engine that turns each round's score into a differential and an updated index
- Member accounts with online joining and renewal
- A member-discount directory across hotels, restaurants and health care partners
- Golf society reports, news and events managed by club staff
What changed
Members enter scores and check their handicap from their phone, straight after the round.
The office stops doing arithmetic.
